Calling all junior high, high school, homeschool and university educators and administrators! Preview the Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Away. exhibition, the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center and the D-Day: Normandy 1944  OMNIMAX® film at no cost to help you plan a future field trip for your students.

Final entry to the exhibition will be at 8 p.m. and the final OMNIMAX® showing will start at 7:30 p.m. Reserve your ticket by calling 513-287-7021 and providing your educator credentials.

Limited tickets may also be available at the box office on the day of the event. Guests are welcome but will pay full admission pricing.

Note that The Children’s Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science and Cincinnati History Museum will NOT be open for this event.

Join the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center for a professional development session designed to help educators prepare their students to engage meaningfully with the internationally acclaimed exhibition Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Awaycoming to the Cincinnati Museum Center this October. In this session, you’ll explore strategies for framing the exhibition appropriately for students, integrating the testimonies of local Auschwitz survivors and connecting the exhibition to broader themes in Holocaust education. Educators will also receive information on field trip packages, Holocaust speaker opportunities and additional lesson plans to support teaching about Auschwitz.

Presently, more than 50 civic leaders and representatives of our region’s diverse faith traditions are again collaborating as planners of this year’s 4th Annual Cincinnati Festival of Faiths.

The Festival is our community’s most inclusive gathering of area religious groups, involving more than 30 distinct faith traditions representing 14 world religions.

The Festival’s purposes are to showcase our community’s rich religious diversity, remind us of religion’s contributions to our community’s quality of life, and to demonstrate the unity of our interfaith community.
