This December, the Homeless Coalition will be hosting a cocktail hour and awards ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Homeless Coalition and to also recognize individuals in the community that have done outstanding community service. We hope that you will join us.
December is a time of celebration for many cultures throughout the world. In Buddhism, we celebrate Buddha’s Enlightenment on Bodhi Day which is December 8. This year Bodhi Day is on a Sunday and the Cincinnati Zen Center will honor it by having extended practice, 6:15-7:30 am followed by regular practice at 8:00 am.
