Friends for Good’s 11th annual camp will take place July 27 – July 31, 2026 daily from 9am – 5pm. Each day, camp moves to a new location so participants can learn about the religion and culture of that particular space. Previous host sites in the past have been The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, Adath Israel Congregation, Bethan Adam Congregation, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Knox Presbyterian Church, The Bahá’í Center of Cincinnati, The Third Way Peace Fellowship, ish, and others.
Participants learn about other practices and cultures, play a lot of games, and get to know others from different walks of life. This camp is not about solving world problems or overcoming huge differences. Rather, it is about developing the leadership qualities of deep listening, empathy, and awareness. Religion? Listening? Awareness? This might not sound like the most exciting summer camp, but just ask the students that participate. No doubt, they will tell you that they love being at Interfaith Harmony Camp. It is a fun way to make new friends and eat amazing snacks in the process.
