They are presenting their original picture book biographies to Civil Rights icon Judge Nathaniel Jones and NBA Hall of Fame legend Oscar Robertson. \nChildren’s Theatre of Cincinnati Presents Martin’s Dream\nJanuary 19 – 20\nCincinnati Children’s Theatre\n10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.\nMartin’s Dream explores the real person behind the pictures: a man whose faith\, family and education made him one of the most revered people in our nation’s history. Ticket prices run from $5 – $14.50 and can be purchased online. All events are free to Cincinnati Museum Center members. \nCincinnati MLK Coalition 44th Annual Commemorative March\nJanuary 21\nNational Underground Railroad Freedom Center\n10:30 a.m.\nHundreds of people will gather outside the Freedom Center’s Harriet Tubman Theater. The march will reach Fountain Square for 11 a.m. for an Interfaith Prayer Service. By 12 p.m. everyone will head to Music Hall for the MLK Commemorative Celebration. The keynote speaker will be Reverend Derek Terry. \nAnnual MLK Day Blood Drive\nJanuary 21\nNational Underground Railroad Freedom Center\n11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\nHelp save a life. The purpose of this drive it to facilitate blood donation to local Hoxworth facilities on the MLK National Day of Service honoring Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Additionally\, it is to raise awareness of those in need of blood donations throughout the year.
